Andy Warhol: Photo to Xerox to Acetate to Finished Art

A little tracing paper or projection device accompanied by just the right photo or image (and of course all the right tools) and the eye for composition and simplicity and you have yourself an original Warhol drawing. It doesn't get much better than this.

Blotted Line Drawings:
Warhol used blotted line to create his famous commercial illustrations from the 1950’s such as his 25 Cats Name Sam, A is for Alphabet, and I. Miller shoe illustrations.
